Tomorrow — Thursday, April 9th —  marks the last day students may request to be assessed according to the AE final grade designation.

Many of you have been receiving requests from your students for the AE grade.  As you turn to marking final exams and assignments and calculating students’ final grades in the coming weeks, we would like to share some information regarding students’ eligibility for the AE grade and some possible scenarios you may encounter. 

Please consult the attached AE Grading Guide for Instructors. We have worked to make this guide as concise as possible while also addressing some of the more frequent questions you have raised.

As this last week of classes draws to close, we would like to express our deep gratitude for your perseverance and compassion this semester.  We see you and all that you have accomplished in your commitment to supporting KPU students.
