As the semester draws to a close, we hope you are feeling some of the weight of the past weeks lifting. Here are a few brief notes as we head into the weekend:

Teaching and Learning Course: The T&L Commons will be offering a one-week intensive course on teaching online.  The course, entitled “Level Up: Learning to Teach Online,” is scheduled for April 29 to May 5, and you can register at tlevents.kpu.ca.  At this time, priority will be given to those faculty teaching in the summer. If you’re teaching in May, please consider signing up!

Financial Support for Students: The federal government has announced a massive nine-billion-dollar aid package for students. These monies will be available to offset the impact of job loss, an emergency benefit to cover short term situations.
