On Wednesday morning, many of us were feeling the effects of staying up late on Tuesday evening glued to our screens, watching the US election results stream in…and in…and innnnnn. We continue to watch and wait with Americans deeply divided. It was a busy political week as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also paid a visit via Zoom for a townhall discussion with members of the KPU community, which was hosted by President Alan Davis. What a wonderful opportunity for KPU students to pose their questions directly to the Prime Minister and share their concerns, ideas, and hopes for the future. The poise, critical insight, and engagement demonstrated by the KPU students reveal that they are, and will be, forces for much-needed positive change at home and in the world.
