Summer classes ended this week, and exams notwithstanding, some of Arts\u2019s merry wanderers of the night are making their way to Bard on the Beach<\/a> \u2013 back under the stars after two years \u2013 to partake of<\/em> A Midsummer Night\u2019s Dream\u2026<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n POMP, TRIUMPH, AND REVELLING<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n Awake the pert and nimble spirit of mirth: <\/strong>the Arts General Meeting, as per Christina Fung\u2019s email on Tuesday, will be held on Aug. 31 in Arbutus 1780. It\u2019ll be our first in-person Faculty meeting in over two years, so you know that – unlike Bottom – we will \u201cdiscourse wonders!\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n A very good piece of work, I assure you, and a merry: <\/strong>The Summer 2022 edition of History\u2019s student journal, The Emergent Historian<\/em>, is out now (see attached). It\u2019s an exceptionally rich testament to the breadth of interests, and the quality of work \u2013 including innovative multi-media projects – produced by our student historians. Congratulations to all involved! <\/p>\n\n\n\n Say what the play treats on; then read the names of the actors; and so grow to a point:<\/strong> Editor Greg Chan (ENGL) has shared the latest edition of Mise-en-sc\u00e8ne,<\/em> KPU\u2019s journal of film and narration- the Pride edition! If you\u2019re concerned that delays in student submissions may hamper your ability to meet the deadline, please work on Incomplete Grade Contracts<\/a> for those students and input an \u201cI\u201d grade by or before August 24. Be sure to contact arts@kpu.ca<\/a> ASAP if you need any information or guidance about the process for submitting Incomplete Grade Contracts.
