LESSON DELIVERY CHECKLIST
The lesson delivery checklist provides key prompts to consider when managing the logistics of lesson delivery.
- Instructional material (paper/digital) required for the lesson is prepared
- Students are provided access to lesson material ahead of time/during the lesson
- Students are aware where to access lesson materials
- Assessments, grading tagged to lessons are prepared
- Students have access to assessments required to be completed before, during and after the lesson
- The instructor has a backup plan to deliver the lesson if the planned technology fails
- Technology tools used for lesson delivery are privacy compliant
- Instructor has trouble shooting skills to rectify basic technology issues
- Instructor is aware where to seek help for technology related issues during lesson delivery
- The instructor has access to hardware to deliver the lesson planned
- The instructor has access to software to deliver the lesson planned
- The instructor is aware of PD opportunities to use technology used for lesson delivery
- Students have access to the required technology to complete lessons
- Resource material is accessible to all students in commonly used formats
- The lesson to be delivered is time measured
- Additional time for questions, technology malfunctions, distractions are built into the lesson plan
- Set up time, tare-down time for lesson logistics are planned during the scheduled lesson time
- Engagement with learning content, community building, assessments are time measured within the lesson
- Students know when and how they will receive feedback in a timely fashion
- Hardware are properly stored, accounts are logged out after the lesson
- The instructor has access to learning analytics data on student performance post lesson delivery
- Student have opportunity to contact the instructor post lesson
- Student have an opportunity to provide feedback post lesson
- The instructor has a process to continuously improve the course delivery process
