ePortfolio Matters in Business

Faculty Reporting and Reflection

The Melville School of Business has partnered with the Teaching and Learning Commons to develop and pilot a Service, Scholarship and Professional Development workbook using PebblePad. This workbook was developed to streamline the reporting process for faculty and encourage them to engage in reflective practice with respect to these activities. PebblePad’s administrative platform, Atlas, provides administrators with easy access to faculty eportfolios for faculty review as well as collecting data and providing analytics for accreditation purposes.

Human Resources Management (HRMT)

The HRMT program has a long history of embedding the use of ePortfolios into their program. Just as they were early adopters of the now retired Mahara platform, HRMT faculty were eager to pilot PebblePad. Now that the transition to PebblePad is complete, HRMT faculty are working with Teaching and Learning and PebblePad representatives to further re-imagine their use of ePortfolios with a greater emphasis on folio thinking pedagogy.

Business (BUSI)

The BUSI program has two courses that call for ePortfolios in their learning outcomes. Working with the Teaching and Learning Commons and the Learning Centres, BUSI is developing faculty and student facing resources to assist students in meeting these outcomes.
