In the Vancouver Area:
The Greater Vancouver Foodbank serves the Vancouver area by providing food to the needy. You can help out by volunteering your time at one of their many food or donation drives.
Second Harvest is Canada’s largest food rescue charity. They recover nutritious, unsold food from more than 1,200 donors and redistribute it to a broad network of 1,080 social service organizations in both BC and Ontario.
You can participate in either the short or long-term at different events or foodraisers.
Across Canada
The Food Banks Canada network has a great search feature for you to find an organization near you where you can volunteer!
Outside of Canada
