Tools

There seems to be an endless number of tools and supplies that can be worked with throughout the sewing process. While at a minimum something could be sewn together with only a hand sewing needle, thread, and the textile that is being used for the project, there are lots of great tools out there to make the sewing process that much easier. Depending on the type of project, a maker might have a sewing machine, fabric shears, thread, seam ripper, fabric, thread snips, and potentially more. They type of tools and equipment that you choose to work with will most likely reflect what you are making, how often you make, and budget available. Look through the menu items and content found under this heading to explore different types of tools that might be worked with when sewing and constructing things with textiles.
