Azeem, a second generation Ugandan citizen witnesses first hand terror during the 90 days expulsion order. He shares how he had to leave a very successful and comfortable life in Uganda, which his parents & grandparents had built over the last 60 years! In addition, he had to give up his studies at Makerere University. However he bounced back to a very successful academic career when he settled in Canada. With deep roots in Uganda, Azeem shares how his family is giving back to Uganda through an Endowed Nursing Scholarship for Ugandan students, despite having lost everything during the 1972 expulsion.
