proposed directions of a design solution.
| If you are an expert in epidemiology, HVAC systems, aerospace, astronautics or just an interested reader, I would greatly appreciate any feedback, critique, or guidance on the information presented and direction of designing a solution. Thank you! Prompts: Was the presentation easy to follow? Was the problem clear? Any missing research? Opinions on which direction to move forward with? General thoughts? The content is beautifully presented and very easy to follow. Your grasp of this topic is evident.
The problems and the paths were clear – the sub paths/questions were also very interesting.
I find myself looking most at Path 2 – cities within cities – whereby scaling down allows for micro-closed loops…

I think you should be really proud of the work you’ve done here Camille. Adobe spark really worked well for you and it turned out really beautifully. Your content is very well written too. At first I thought maybe it would be too much scrolling when I first went through, but it wasn’t a problem when I slowed down to read it. Your research is clear and well explained. The only thing you could maybe include is a simplified comparison of MELiSSA and ECLSS if there could be a chart, or pro/con or similar. But that’s only if that would be relevant to know for readers of your project and maybe it’s not. I think the point in the first path “device to regulate airflow in response to pathogens in the air, or a device to aid in detection of viruses” sounds really cool. Does this exist in any form? In any case it sounds awesome. One other suggestion is that you may wish to have the info on this page all on the spark page. That way everything is in one spot. Your comments button could link to a form or the specific comments part of this page so people don’t miss it. We want people to comment more on your great work!

What an amazing topic! I love the comparison between space living and pandemic living. The three direction that you have chosen are all so relevant and interesting. I could see that you will have tons of research to do to be able to make a decision.
The parts about the MELiSSA system is a little dense and it could eb good to make easier to understand graphic, maybe with icons to help visualize how it works. It could also help give space for your own ideation on how to apply it to the pandemic living.
You are tackling a beast of a problem but I admire you for it! Good luck! I am looking forward to see the developments!
